Faris Gourmet Popcorn & Treats is a family-owned and -operated gourmet popcorn business founded by Jeff & Anne Faris, and is based out of Fond du Lac, WI.
The idea for Faris Gourmet Popcorn & Treats stemmed from one of Jeff's favorite pastimes - making homemade popcorn nightly after a long day of work. The business then came into fruition in 2009 when the youngest of Jeff and Anne's three daughters, Jennifer, was given an assignment for her high school marketing class to create a mock business plan. That night, over a bowl of her dad's favorite nightly snack, Jennifer began thinking of different mock business proposals (with help from her parents). Jeff and Jennifer looked down at the bowl, then back to each other when Jeff said the famous words, "I have an idea!"
Jeff's nightly ritual, turned Jennifer's high school project, quickly began popping flavor after flavor with new ideas popping into the Faris Family's heads with every kernel. After their first order, Faris Gourmet Popcorn & Treats took off popping into a booming local business.
Faris Gourmet Popcorn & Treats now produces over 350 varieties of gourmet popcorn flavors and mixes. Jeff and Anne still run this business with two of their daughters, Alison and Jennifer. Their products are available in their brick & mortar outlet store, online store, as well as approximately 3,000 box stores nationwide.
With no other companies like it in Southeastern Wisconsin, Faris Gourmet Popcorn & Treats was officially established in 2010, and was created with the intent to introduce the community to new, unique, and delicious flavors available at an affordable price so everyone has the opportunity to enjoy it!
